• Make Anthropic the author; Claude is the tool, and APA does not list an AI as an author because it cannot take responsibility for the work.
• Use the chat’s title as it appears in Claude (you may rename it before sharing), in italics and sentence case, followed by [Generative AI chat].
• Name the model Claude displays, such as Claude Sonnet 4, after the title; APA no longer adds a dated version in parentheses.
• End with the claude.ai/share link from the Share button, and describe the prompt in your text or Method rather than in the reference.
